The auto-indexing program has been written in C and implemented on an SGI O2 workstation. It is a component of the general data-processing system (DPS ). The auto-indexing component of DPS is available over the web, including the source code. The run-time for auto-indexing is sufficiently short for the procedure to be run interactively. The program described here is now included in the MOSFLM data-processing package (Leslie, 1992[link]).
