Laboratory coordinates and geometric definition of the coaxial goniometer axes ω and 2θ. If the azimuthal angle γ takes all values from 0 to 360° at a given Bragg angle 2θ, the trace of the diffracted beams forms a Debye cone (compare with Fig. 2.1.1[link]).
